Young people are in crisis. This boot camp will provide young men with real-life tools to be more self-aware, assertive, confident, and safe. Classes will be highly interactive and activity based, combining martial arts and life skills training. 

Self-Defense:

• Defending yourself against one or multiple attackers.

• Defending yourself against a weapon. 

• Stopping someone from knocking you out or taking you down. 

Self-Awareness:

• Intuition and fear—knowing the difference. 

• Letting your word be more powerful than your mood. 

• How to calm yourself down without causing harm. 

Social-Awareness:

• Not moving like a victim or a challenge. 

• How to not piss people off or attract bullies. 

• How to be yourself.

World-Awareness:

• How to have privilege without guilt, shame, or arrogance.

• Facing the unknown.

• How to be in this world without going crazy.

André Salvage and Dorian Wiederholt Kassar will be joined by special guest instructors to create an empowering and transformative experience.
